Polyester-Specific Dendritic Internal Lubricant

CYD-C600
CYD-C600 is a high-temperature resistant dendritic structure additive with special functional groups developed by Weihai Chenyuan Molecular New Materials Co., Ltd. It significantly improves the processing fluidity and mechanical properties of PBT and PET polyester systems, enhances the dispersion of fillers or flame retardants in the system, effectively addresses surface defects, and improves the gloss of the finished product surface. It is widely used in 5G, new energy vehicles and other automotive industries, rail transportation, electronic components such as mobile phones, and plastic products such as instrument housings.
1. Internal lubrication effectively improves the flowability of PET and PBT products, increasing melt flow index by over 50%. It effectively solves problems such as incomplete injection molding and material shortages caused by multiple parts produced in a single injection mold, and also improves the flowability of large, thin-walled products.
2. Effectively improves the overall mechanical properties of products, increasing elongation at break by over 100% and flexural strength by over 10%, without affecting impact and tensile strength.
3. Effectively reduces melt pressure and main machine current, effectively increasing production capacity.

I. Product Overview

CYD-C600 is high temperature resistance additive of dendritic structure with special end groups. It can obviously improve fluidity and mechanical performance of PET etc., and also well disperse fillers and flame retardant in the formulation, effectively solve the surface problem. CYD-C600 is widely applied in the automotive industry, machine part, electronic parts, instrument shell etc.

III. Performance

1. Greatly improve the fluidity of PET products, and increase the melting index by more than 50%;

2. Keep mechanical properties of the product, and basically have no effect on impact and tensile strength;

3. Greatly reduce melt pressure and host current to increase production capacity;

4. Improve the dispersion of filler or flame retardant in the system and effectively solve surface defects;

PET: Blowing grade polyester chip CZ-318, intrinsic viscosity 0.835 ± 0.02 dL / g.

(1) Adding 0.5% CYD-C600 dendritic lubricant, increase the CZ-318 type PET melt index by 55.60%, add 1.0%, increase the melt index by 100.00%, and improve the processing fluidity.

(2) Adding different proportions of CYD-C600 has better mechanical properties for the blowing grade CZ-318 model PET.

PET: Blowing grade polyester chip BG80, intrinsic viscosity 0.80 ± 0.02 dL/g.

(1) Adding 0.5%, CYD-C600 dendritic lubricant increases the BG80 model PET melt index by 42.54%, adding 1.0%, increasing the melt index by 98.78%, and improving the processing fluidity effect.

(2) Adding different proportions of CYD-C600 has better mechanical properties for BG80 PET.
