Dendritic Lubricant for Polyolefins

CYD-P214
The CYD-P214 series is an additive containing a dendritic structure with special functional groups. It can help improve the processing flowability and appearance of plastic systems, while exhibiting certain release properties in different systems. It also has both internal and external slip properties and can be applied to PP, PA, PC, PBT, PMMA and other systems.
1. Reduces melt viscosity, increases melt index by over 50%, effectively improves rheological properties, and maintains good mechanical properties;
2. Improves release properties and appearance;
3. Reduces overall product cost and lowers current per unit output by 5%-10%;
4. Increases molding yield, reduces or eliminates air bubbles during extrusion, and improves product thickness uniformity and dimensional stability;
5. Applications: Pure or filled systems of PP, PA, PC, PBT, PMMA, etc.

I. Product Overview

CYD-P214 is special end groups dendritic polymers produced by Weihai CY Dendrimer Technology Co.,Ltd. Good at processability improvement in polyolefin system and widely applied in pipe, film, sheets, wire and cable, automotive industry, machine parts, electrical elements, shells etc.

III. Performance

1. Reduce the melt viscosity and increase the melting index by more than 50% to effectively improve the rheological properties;

2. Improve the surface defects of the product, improve the plasticization of different melted mixed ingredients, and improve the brightness and smoothness of the surface of the product;

3. Increase production capacity, under the original conditions can increase equipment capacity by 5-10%;

4. Reduce the overall cost of the product and reduce the current per unit of output by 5%-10%;

5. Improve the molding rate, reduce or eliminate the bubbles in the extrusion process, and improve the thickness uniformity and dimensional stability of the product;

PP: Copolymerization, K8003

(1) Adding 0.5% CYD-P214 dendritic lubricant, increase the melt index of 20% filled copolymerized PP system by 35.29%, adding 1.0%, increase the melting index by 52.94%, and improve the processing fluidity.

(2) The addition of 0.5% CYD-P214 increased the impact strength of 20% filled copolymerized PP by 86.54%, the addition of 1.0% impact strength by 107.69%, and other mechanical properties are good.

PP: Copolymerization, K9017

(1) Adding 0.5% CYD-P214 dendritic lubricant, increase the melt index of 20% filled copolymerized PP system by 40.88%, adding 1.0%, increase the melting index by 55.97%, and improve the processing fluidity.

(2) The addition of 0.5% CYD-P214 increased the impact strength of 20% filled copolymerized PP by 46.40%, the addition of 1.0% impact strength by 40.09%, and other mechanical properties are good.

0.5-2%

VII. Storage

It needs to be sealed and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place. It is recommended that the long-term storage temperature be below 50 °C.

This product may have agglomeration in hot summer weather, but the performance of the product itself has not changed, only the physical state changes, will not affect the performance. If the customer is unable to use the product due to agglomeration, it is recommended that the customer smash it before use.
