Dendritic Polymer Modified PETG 3D Printing Filament

As a transparent, non-crystalline copolyester, PETG has outstanding toughness and high transparencyPETG is as environmentally friendly as PLA and meets the requirements of food contact. Comparedwith PLA, PETG has better temperature resistance and durability, and the warpage is low duringprinting, and the overall shape is good.
1. Printing Temperature
PETG has a wide processing temperature range, melting between 210°C and 270°C. Repeated printing tests have determined that its optimal printing temperature range is 230-250°C. Below 230°C, the printer experiences significant extrusion resistance, resulting in a translucent filament. Higher temperatures produce a brighter surface, but excessive temperatures, especially above 270°C, can cause the material to decompose and produce numerous bubbles, affecting the appearance of the printed object.
2. Printing Speed
Because the material cools slightly slower than ABS, for optimal printing results, a printing speed below 60mm/s is recommended. A cooling fan is included. The recommended print speed is 30-100mm/s, depending on the shape and level of detail of the printed object. To prevent filaments from hanging on the surface of the printed object, the fan's cooling effect is enhanced, and the nozzle's idle speed is controlled at above 90mm/s (maximum 200mm/s). 3. Print Platform
3. Print Platform
After applying blue masking tape, the nozzle can print directly on it without worrying about the object falling off. If applying transparent high-temperature film, the base plate must be heated to 80-100°C. Otherwise, the printed object will not adhere well and will fall off the base plate. Heating the base plate can also prevent corner warping when printing large models.
